How to Create a Slot in a Game

Slot

A slit or narrow opening, as in a door, window, etc.

You can create a slot in a game that you’re developing by using the Add Slot action in the Scene Editor. The slots you define are dynamic placeholders that hold content dictated by a scenario. A slot can either wait passively for a trigger (a passive slot) or actively call for a trigger to fill it with content (an active slot). The content is delivered to the browser in the form of a DOM element or HTML markup. You can also use the slot> element of the Web Components technology suite to provide named slots. Named slots allow you to organize and present separate DOM trees on a single page.
